We had quite the celebration yesterday for Lauren's bday. Of course, I captured every moment of her special day. What a fun day we all had celebrating our little girl's first year of life. What fun!!!
Time to turn the carseat around. You need to be one yr old AND 20 lbs. in order to legally turn the carseat around. Lauren weighed 20 lbs 1 oz. Way to go, Lauren, you just made it, and, boy, were you happy about it!!

After presents, we enjoyed dinner. I made Jack's favorite....mac-n-cheese with sausage. (He won't eat any mac-n-cheese out of the box, only the kind that I make. =) I figured Lauren will eat anything, and if Jack likes something, Lauren will like it too.

Oh yeah, how do you like Lauren's bday hat? She LOVES wearing her tiara, so I thought it would be a perfect hat for her bday party.....oh wait...... the real reason she is wearing the tiara, is because mommy forgot to buy a first bday hat for her. Oops~Well, she loved her hat, and she is our cute little princess, right?
She cracked us up while eating her cake. She was so dainty while eating it. I couldn't believe it! She barely made a mess.
This was the biggest bite she took. And, she didn't even finish her piece. She was done with it after just half of it.

We had a great time on Saturday when everyone came over to watch the Civil War game, celebrate Lauren's bday and have a great dinner together!

Here is Lauren's new doll from Nana and Papa....yes, we celebrated Lauren's birthday AGAIN! The one year milestone is pretty special, so I guess it is okay that we had 4 bday parties for her!! You deserve it, Lauren!

On Thanksgiving, we went over to Jason's parents house for a great dinner and dessert. We also got to celebrate Lauren's first birthday, which both kids loved. The first thing they did, was open all of Lauren's presents and play with them the rest of the evening. They had a great time with their grandparents and aunts and uncles.
