Easter!

What a fun Easter we had this year. Jack and Lauren were up early for the Easter bunny, we had a great brunch with my family and a delicious dinner with Jason's. The day before Easter, Uncle Jeff was teaching Jack and Lauren a new game on the Wii.

Setting out Easter eggs, lettuce and carrots for the E.B.

Easter morning, Jack found a BIG chocolate bunny from the Easter Bunny.

Jack had to climb to get some of his eggs this year. He was so nice to Lauren, leaving the easy eggs for her to find.

Their reaction when they saw that the Easter bunny ate most of the lettuce and carrots.

Sorting through their candy...they really liked eating candy at 7AM!

Charlie (7 weeks)ready for church. Charlie is so big now...he is already in 3-6 month clothes.

So sweet.

Jane and John put together this really fun scavenger hunt for Jack and Lauren. Jack remembered it from last year and couldn't wait to find his presents. Lauren loves her new princess soccer ball.

Jack had to get a boost from his Uncle Jeremy to find one of his presents.

Grandma and Grandpa with their three grandchildren.

Aunt Liz and Lauren. Lauren loved playing with Aunt Liz on Sunday. She wouldn't leave her side.
What a natural with Charlie. Adam is ready for his own little boy who will arrive in July. We all can't wait!

Easter Eggs!!

I am so glad that we dyed our Easter eggs today, because if I heard, "Mommy, when can we do our Easter eggs?" one more time, I think I would have screamed!!!

Getting ready...
Jason and Charlie watched.

The finished product! They are so excited for the Easter Bunny to come on Sunday morning.

A fun adventure on a sunny day

It was a sunny afternoon and the kiddos and I decided to go on a little adventure. We packed up the stroller and bikes and headed to Dawson Creek Park to have a little fun. We had such a great time riding bikes, feeding ducks, throwing sticks in the creek and climbing. It was such a treat to be in the (kind of) warm sunshine this afternoon. Everyone was happy...Charlie loved being outside riding around as well!Everyone was ready to head out for some fun!
Charlie only slept for a few minutes. He then, woke up and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon.

I was so impressed with Lauren on her bike! She was so determined to get up the hills all by herself. After about an hour and half, when we made it back to our car, she said. "Wow Mommy, my legs are tired!"

Jack was so sweet and went slow on his bike so Lauren, Charlie and I could catch up.

We took a break from our bikes to feed the ducks. I love Lauren's expression. Jack and Lauren were both laughing at the ducks fighting over the bread we brought.

How lucky am I? I have the best kiddos!

Throwing sticks in the creek and watching them float down the water.

Jack found this tree stump and just "had" to climb it.

Today made me so excited for summer. It is so nice to be outside playing. Bring on the sunshine!! Summer can't come soon enough!

Who does he look like?

So, who does Charlie look like? I get that question a lot. Here are pictures of each kiddo all around the same age. What do you think?Lauren Jack Charlie

A field trip to the fire station

Last Monday, Jack and Lauren's preschool took a trip to the fire station. They really enjoyed it and loved being with their friends on this fun day.Checking out the truck. The man in his gear. The entire group at the end of the day. I guess Jack and Lauren sat in the fire truck, but I missed that part, because Charlie was screaming and I was walking him around trying to console him.

It is hard to imagine that Charlie is already six weeks old. Check out his super cute smile!!! We just started seeing that the past few days. The last few weeks have been a bit difficult. Charlie had been crying the most part of every day and still not sleeping well. Finally, after consulting with our dr. friend, Lindsay, I took him to his doctor. It turns out that Charlie has reflux and has been in a lot of pain. Now that he is on some medication for that, he is sleeping better and is much happier! YAY!! I am so glad he is feeling better. On another note, Charlie weighed 11lb 6 oz. at his appointment. He has put on over 3 pounds in six weeks. He is like his mommy and likes to eat!!

Swim Lessons!

Jack and Lauren started swim lessons on Tuesday and they loved it! Their friend Alexa is doing swim lessons with them and they all did such a great job! Before heading in the pool. So excited to be in the pool.
Lauren swimming with teacher Mike.
Jack and Alexa waiting their turn.

Climbing down the side of the pool, getting ready to jump in. They can't wait until Tuesday for their next lesson.
A few vidoes: one of Jack swimming and the other of Lauren jumping in.
