Happy 6th Birthday Jack!!!
Better late than never....Happy 6th Birthday Jack!! I can't believe he is six! That sounds SO old. People say that a one's personality is formed by the time you are six. So what is Jack's personality???? Here are a few I can think of now-sweet, kind-hearted, outgoing, friendly, energetic, a "pleaser", rule follower, athletic and smart. We are so lucky to have an amazing boy. He is the best big brother to Lauren and Charlie. They adore him! He is so sweet. Jack is a happy boy who LOVES school...he almost cried when I had to take him out of school an hour early for his six year check-up last week. He is thriving..reading, making a lot of friends and showing his teacher (and Jason and I) that he is actually a leader. I couldn't more proud of him.

Jack had his birthday party at Sunset lanes. Bowling and arcade games...what else could a six year old want??
He liked seeing his name on the table so everyone knew it was his bday.
He got a bowling pin and with a rocker theme, he used it as a guitar.

I loved his rockin' cake!

Jack got to catch as many tickets as he could in a minute. He then redeemed his tickets for a prize.
Jack had a lot of school friends at his party and his old friend Ethan. A lot of friends could come because they were out of town for Martin Luther King weekend. So, Lauren was able to have a few of her friends join the party! It worked out great.

The entire bday party group.

Air hockey!

Lauren posing for the picture...what a cheese ball!
Poor Charlie!

Caden and Hailey had to miss Jack's party, but they came over for a playdate instead. So fun to have such great friends. Jack and Lauren really like playing with them.
Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Liz, Uncle Adam and Aunt Michelle met us at Red Robin for dinner. Jack is so lucky to have so much family who love him.
I am glad that Jack had an amazing birthday! We love you Jack!!
11 months
He is slower than the other two verbally. He is still babbling and can now say mama. Even though, he doesn't know what it means. He is probably slower verbally because we are so much busier now than when J and L were this age. Oops. I guess that comes with being the third. =) His favorite way to "verbalize" these days is by shaking his head no. It is so funny.
Charlie is now transitioning to drinking whole milk and will soon be off bottles. Crazy that we won't ever need to deal with bottles EVER again. He is such a great eater...from veggies to fruit to meat. He loves it all. Oh and it isn't baby food. The past month, he has been eating what we eat and does great!
Charlie has been sleeping through the night. He still wakes up a few times a week around 4, but I am not giving him a bottle anymore, so he has learned to just go back to sleep. He is a stubborn little guy though. We have had many middle of the night battles. Two and a half hours of him awake in his room wanting me to give him a bottle...Jason loves those nights. He covers his head with his pillow and tries to sleep through Charlie's "talking" in the middle of the night.
I still can't believe is 11 months and walking and talking are up next. I LOVE it!
What a cutie! I love it!
