Fun Christmas Party

The Carnese's had their annual children's Christmas Party last weekend. It was an amazing party. These kiddos are so lucky to see Santa at the party. Here are some of the pictures from our night of fun.

Crafts!
Yes, that is Charlie crying in yet another picture. He had a rough night. Everyone else had a complete opposite experience!

Zoo Lights

This year we went to zoo lights with friends! It was a cold night, but the kiddos loved looking at the lights and playing while waiting in line for the train.

Our visit with Santa

Jack and Lauren hanging out with Santa. They did a great job of telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Santa told them that he couldn't believe how much bigger they are this year. I loved seeing their faces light up when they talked with him.
Hanging out with Santa. Jack seems to be really enjoying the conversation.
A great picture of all three with Santa. Charlie didn't even cry! I don't know why, but my kiddos have never cried on Santa's lap.

Jack's Christmas Program

The star of the show, Jack!!!
Nana and Charlie. Charlie was so good during the performance.
Singing

Jack's number one fans, Lauren and Charlie

I was so proud of Jack. He was one of a few kindergarteners selected to speak. He did a great job and told me he "didn't even have to read his part because he memorized it all." Great job Jack!!

Cutting down our Christmas tree

We had a great time finding our Christmas trees this year. Charlie took a nap in the car while the rest of us hunted for our trees. Lauren and Jack thought it took a bit too long to find the perfect trees, but in the end we were all happy with what we came home with.

Hunting for the tree with Daddy.
Jack tried to cut down our small tree this year. He couldn't believe how hard it was and looked at Jason in awe as he cut down both trees.
It was really cold the day we got our tree, so when we got home I went inside with Charlie. Jack also came in to hang out with us. I love that Lauren was tough and stayed outside with Jason getting the tree ready to be brought in. She even helped Jason bring the small tree inside. Oh what a help she was!
Next, the kiddos helped Jason string the lights. This is probably Jason's least favorite activity ever, but he was at least entertained by J and L.

I don't know why this is so out of order??? Here we are in front of our tree.

Nine months now-

My little Charlie is now nine months old.He weighs 20.5 lbs (44%) and is 29 inches long (67%). At eight and a half month, Charlie cut his two bottom teeth and began crawling. He loves his new independence and is so proud of himself when he gets where he wants to go. The Christmas decorations have been entertaining to him and he often pulls ornaments off the tree. Charlie is eating about everything now. He even tried salmon a few nights ago. He sleeps 12 hours at night and usually naps about 3 hours during the day. Now that is some good sleeping! He continues to be a happy little boy who loves to be at home hanging out with the family.

Crawling!!!

It may be slow, but we officially have a crawler on our hands. Charlie is so proud of himself! Check out his tongue...Jack and Lauren told me they taught him how to do it. I love how they encourage him to move.

Thanksgiving!

My parents, Jason and I hosted Thanksgiving this year. The best part was seeing how well Jack and Lauren played with their cousins.
Cute!!

Gary and Charlie.

Lauren's Birthday Party

Lauren was so excited for her birthday party! She had it at a gymnastics place close to our house.
Mommy and the birthday girl!
Good friends the Tyacke's. We don't see Caden and Hailey as much now that school has started. We miss them and were so glad they could make it to the party.
Jumping in the foam pit.
Cupcake time!

Someone didn't want to be in the picture!!!
We ended Lauren's bday with dinner at Red Robin.
