With our graduate
A proud sister...who gets to go to preschool with Jack next year!
Grandma and Grandpa came to watch Jack perform.

Nana wouldn't miss it either.

Lauren loved watching Jack and his friends sing songs.

Jack had another speaking part today. He introduced the song You Are My Sunshine. Great job Jack. I can't believe you are already finished with your first year of preschool.

Princess Lauren's Mani/Pedi

Lauren was so excited to get dressed up and get a mani/pedi today for Auntie Amy's wedding. She was SO excited getting her nails done and can't wait until Saturday when she can be a princess in her wedding.Twirling around like a ballerina.
What??? Yes, this is my little Lauren striking a pose with her little hip out and everything. What a crack up!

She picked out her color...you guessed it...bright pink!
She loves her Auntie!
Your nails look good!
We picked Jack up at school and he practiced walking with his pillow.
Practicing their walk for the wedding.

Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to the last few weeks. On Mother's Day we went to a park where Jack got to ride his scooter...
...and Lauren got to play on the play structure...

...and swing.

Lauren has been busy with swim lessons twice a week.
Nice tree...
oh was Jack in there??? Any tree he can find these days he climbs.
Last week, the kids took Mav for a walk with Auntie Amy.
While the weather was nice, Jack played in the sprinklers while Lauren napped.

Lauren's getting ready...

Now it is Lauren's turn to get ready for Auntie Amy and Todd's wedding next week. We stopped by Michelle's salon to practice her hair for the BIG day. All I can say is, Michelle is a miracle worker!!! I could not believe what she did with Lauren's hair. Not much hair to work with, but Michelle made her look like a princess. Lauren LOVED getting her hair done and sat very still in the chair the entire time. I can't wait to see her with her dress on and her hair done. Only a few more days! Thanks Michelle for taking time in your day to practice on Lauren! You are the best!Getting started....
This one reminds me of Annie.

It doesn't even look like Lauren in this one.

Jack was so good, just sat under the dryer playing his leapster. What a good sport!!
Check it out!!! Amazing. Lauren couldn't stop looking at herself in the mirror. She loved it. When we left, she wouldn't put her head against her carseat, because she didn't want to ruin her curls! What a girlie girl.
So cute!

And so happy!!!

Riding a bike

Check out Jack riding his bike on just TWO wheels!! He loved it and can't wait to keep practicing tomorrow. Way to go Jack! You are awesome!!!

And below is little Lauren starting to ride her trike. She is just BARELY tall enough to reach the pedals and only goes about 6 feet before stopping, BUT she loves it and that is ALL that matters. Good job, Lauren. I can tell this summer is going to be a fun one---riding bikes will be at the top of our list of things to do!

Jack's First Baseball Game

Here are a few of Jack's #1 fans.
I think Jack's coach told him to "get ready" This is Jack looking ready for the ball.

Jack playing first base.
This t-ball league is so funny. The kids have no clue what to do. Basically, it is total confusion and the adults are all telling the kids what to do. Everyone has a good time and that is what is important.

Lauren got tired of watching the game. She found a friend to play with to pass the time. They picked flowers and ran all over the place. It was fun to watch her playing with a new friend.

Here is a video of Jack hitting. Sorry...coach Mom had to "encourage" Jack to run while I was taking the video. Also, listen to everyone trying to tell the kids what to do. Total confusion!!!! So funny, but Jack loves it.

Getting Ready for Mother's Day

Jack came home from preschool today SO excited to give me my Mother's Day gift. I asked him if I should wait until Mother's Day, but he said NO WAY! He said, "Well, Mommy, we can wrap the gift back up on Sunday and you can open it again." Of course, Jack, why didn't I think of that? A special thank you to Lauren for taking the pictures of Jack and me.My gift all wrapped up.
There is my gift...a picture of Jack that I can hang on the fridge.

On another note, Jason had the kids make a menu and activity guide for Mother's Day. The menu had 10 different options and I got to choose anything I wanted. With a little help from the kiddos the menu is set for Sunday morning. I also picked out all of my activities for Mother's Day. Some include, going to the park, a bike ride, playing Mario Cart, coloring, playing UNO and doing a puzzle. We will be BUSY. I thought it was such a cute idea and Jack and Lauren were so excited to make and give me these.

I told Jack to smile BIG. Apparently, he listened.=)
