BBR

What a great Black Butte vacation this year. I will let the pictures do the talking!!Detroit Lake stop on the way over for ice cream cones.
Charlie's first pool experience. He loved it!

One of many poolside naps on Papa.

Smores with Uncle Jeff by the Lodge.

Papa spent a lot of time in the pool with Jack and Lauren.

Pool tricks!! Jumping in backwards.

Jack jumping in karate style!

Slip-n-slide

Looking tough...

Lauren really wanted us to dress like twins one night before dinner.

A morning walk

and bike ride

A bike ride to coffee and hot chocolate.

Giddy-up! Time to ride horses.

Jack is a pro on a horse now. He loved it and I enjoyed leading him around.

Lauren did great for her first time on her horse, Strawberry. Papa led her around and she told him it was a bit of a bumpy ride.

Lauren looks so little on her horse.

Rock climbing.

Jack went so high on the wall. He told us he liked it, but it was a lot harded than he thought. It is amazing how coordinated Jack has become over the last year. He is such a boy these days!

Happy baby!

A couple cute ones!

I added a couple good pictures from our week this week! Jack and Lauren have been playing so well this week. No fighting and LOTS of playing together. Charlie continues to amaze me. He is such a happy baby. He laughs more than Jack and Lauren ever did at this age. Of course, he prefers to be held by me most of the time, but he does enjoy about ten minutes in his saucer a few times a day.My happy baby.
Awww..

Love those blue eyes!

Just like Jack, Lauren now likes to follow Jason with her lawnmower.

Cute one of my boys. (Uh, don't mind the dirty diaper right behind their heads! Eww..)

So cute!!

BBQ with the Tyackes

We had the Tyackes over for dinner last Saturday. It was so nice sitting and catching up with Lisa and Trevor while the kiddos played. These four play so well together. The boys are close in age as are Hailey and Lauren. It is perfect! Here are a few pictures from our great evening!

Track Meet

Westview High School had a really fun "track meet" last week. Jack and Lauren competed in three events, 50 meter dash, long jump and softball toss. Lauren running with her friend Hailey.
Long Jump!
Lauren insisted on wearing her skirt to the track meet. She thought it would make her run fast.

Good buddies waiting to race the 50 m. dash.

Looking tough!

The girls lined up before the race. Lauren did such a good job running as fast as she could. Check out the video below. After Lauren finished the race, she was a little (or A LOT) overwhelmed with everyone screaming and clapping.

Here is the result of Lauren feeling overwhelmed. Poor Lauren!! She quickly felt better though, and was ready for the softball toss. On the drive home, she told me that she wouldn't cry the next time, because "she knew what to do when she finished the race."

Everyone with their ribbons!
