Soccer!!!

Jack's soccer season has started and he loves it. He is doing a great job. They play 4 on 4 games through the middle of October. Each day, Jack asks me if he has a game. It is so fun to see him enjoy it so much.

Aerating

While Lauren was at her doctor's appointment last week, Jane took Jack to the golf course to watch Jason and Jeremy aerate the course. Jack really like riding around with them while they worked.
A few days ago, Jack and Lauren were playing outside. Jack came in and asked for some string. We gave him some and a few minutes later, went outside to see this. Jack was driving his gator with a rake tied to the back. He told us he was "dragging the greens like Daddy and Uncle Jeremy did at the course." Pretty cute!

Lauren was Jack's co-pilot.

First Day of Preschool

Today is Jack and Lauren's first day of preschool. At 6 this morning, Jack came bounding in my room saying he was so excited for his first day of school. Who has energy like that at 6AM???

Anyway, I have to admit that it was very weird running errands by myself this morning. I got so much more accomplished than I thought I would. This is the first time in nearly five years that I have had time on my own without my little ones. I better not get too used to it as in just six months I will have my little newborn with me at all times. =) Both were SO excited for school. They got to bring snack the first day of school and enjoyed picking out what their friends would eat today.
I just can't believe how big Jack is now. He is so independent! Just yesterday, he even tied his own shoes all by himself. Very impressive Jack! You should have seen how proud he was, and he couldn't wait to show his daddy when he got home from work!

What a change in Lauren....no one would believe that two years ago she was SO sick. Lauren's personality is shining these days. She is healthy and active. We even got some good news at her recent doctor's visit. Her medication was reduced AGAIN because her blood pressure is normal. The dr. even said that she might be able to get off all her medication in the near future! Big news for us as we were told she would need meds to regulate her bp for life.

I couldn't snap pictures this morning without getting a silly one. What a bunch of goofballs!

Bye-bye home

We moved out of our home last week. The move went very smoothly (actually a lot easier than I thought) That is probably because we had tons of help with the kiddos. Thanks to everyone who watched them for us while we packed and moved. A big thank you to Jeremy who moved all the heavy items with Jason. And, to my mom, who watched the kids more times than I can count and helped move as well. Our little helpers loading up the truck.

The kids had a blast running through the house without the furniture in it. They didn't mind the move at all. They tell me that our rental is better than the other house because of the play structure outside. So far the transition to a new home has been great!
Now we just need to find a home to buy. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
