Friends

I recently reconnected with my first BFF ever. Our friendship started when I lived in Florence and was two years old. I actually don't remember how we met, but all I know is that Mallary was my BEST friend and when I moved to Eugene when I was 4, I didn't want to go, because I had to leave Mallary behind. A few months back Mal and I reconnected on Facebook. We found out that not only do we each have two children----they are the exact same age. Her darling son, Luke's bday is one day after Jack, and sweet Chloe is 10 days older than Lauren. Isn't that crazy??? Anyway, we had Mallary and her kiddos over for a playdate on Monday morning. The kids had a great time playing together. I think their favorite part was jumping on the couch. You should have heard the laughter and screams of excitement. What fun we all had! Here are Lauren, Luke and Jack playing on the couch. I couldn't believe how great Lauren did. She wasn't needy or clingy at all. She tried to keep up with the boys on the couch. I was so proud of her. She is a different kid when she is feeling good and happy! I love it~

Here is our attempt to get a group shot of the kids. It is hard to see them, but what can I say, it isn't easy getting four children 3 and under to all look at the camera. They all did great!
