Big News...

Last night, we told Jack and Lauren that they were going to be a big brother and big sister in March. They were so excited when we told them. Here are some pictures of us telling them the big news.I bought them a cake to celebrate.

The guy was struggling writing on the cake...

first he couldn't fit it, hence the "bro" and "sis." Then the writing looks horrible

They forgot the letter s on the congratulation...I don't think English was the guy's primary language. =)

Before we told them, I asked them to look at my stomach. Then I asked if it looked right. Does it look big??? Unfortuately, they both said that it looked normal. Sweet....

Then Jason sat down to break the news. I love how intently they are listening.

Lauren keeps asking me to see the baby. Then at one point today she put a blanket over me, because she thought the baby was a little cold. She also said, "Mommy, your tummy is HUGE." Got to love the honesty.
Jack is really excited to help me after baby comes. He told me that he would help with everything except for changing the dirty diapers. Fair enough. He is also pretty confident in being a big brother since "he is a good big brother to Lauren." Yes, that's right Jack!
Lauren says that she wants a baby girl and Jack wants a baby boy, but he also said that if it was a girl that would be okay too, because it is not up to us it is God's decision.
