Catching up

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind. Things have been busy, but I like it that way! We moved into our new house, started soccer, had friends over for dinner, celebrated Lauren's bday a few days early and more. Here are some pictures that capture our last few weeks.Jason unloading the truck. Thank you to those who helped us move in! We couldn't have done it without you....Jeremy, Amy, Todd, Jane, John, Mom and Dad!!
With the house comes LOTS of leaves. Here is Jason with his little helpers last week. As of now, Jason has 32 bags of leaves, and we still see more leaves getting ready to fall from the trees. That is a lot of hours in the yard.
Jack and Lauren started soccer. This is Lauren's first soccer class. She watched Jack last year and was very eager to start. She did great!

Lauren tried VERY hard to never use her hands. This is what she looked like most of class when she tried to stop the ball. It was so cute.
On Saturday, we had some friends over for dinner. Lauren and Harrison had a great time playing together.
So did Jack and Ethan!
On Sunday, Nana and Papa came up to celebrate Lauren's Bday a bit early. Here they are opening her gifts which she LOVED!!
She got a full tea party set...complete with cups, saucers, tablecloth, jewelry, hat, flowers...pretty much anything you can think of. It was such a great gift....
The first of MANY tea parties.
Nana taught Lauren how to put her pinky up while she was drinking her tea.
This morning, I came downstairs after getting ready to see this scene. The kiddos set up everything and were having a tea party together. Jack decided to flex his muscles just to make sure people knew he was "just playing this for his sister." Yeah, it sure sounded like both of them were having fun. =)
