Mother's Day!

What a wonderful Mother's Day I had! It started with breakfast in bed. Jack and Lauren wrote out a menu the on Saturday and I chose what I wanted. You should see how excited they were when they brought me my breakfast. It was so sweet. Jack and Lauren also picked out their own gift for me. Jack thought that I would love bright blue fingernail polish. (If you look closely at the picture you will see my lovely nails.) It is so funny what little five year old come up with...my fingernails are never painted and he chose blue, because that is his favorite color. =)

Lauren thought that I needed a big chunky purple necklace. I guess she had a hard time choosing, but was very excited when I wore it all day on Mother's Day. (You can see a bit of it in the picture as well.) Each day since Sunday she has asked me to wear it. I told her when I wear purple I will always wear the beautiful necklace. After a relaxing day, which included a LONG nap, we went out to dinner. It was such a fun day...the best part was seeing how much fun Jack and Lauren had spoiling me all day. I am so lucky to have three of the best kiddos around and an unbelievable husband who thoughtfully put together such a great day.
