A few days before Christmas, we enjoy a few traditions around our house. The first is our email from Santa Claus. Jack and Lauren love watching it and can't believe how much Santa knows about what they have been up to. It is so cute watching them. They really liked hearing that Santa thought they were being good!

Another tradition we started this year was elf on the shelf. Our elf was named Carson and he moved to a new position in the house ALMOST every night. Jack especially liked writing Santa letters and asking Carson to bring them up to the North Pole for him. Here is one of the many letters Jack wrote. "Dear Santa, Carson, can you take this up to Santa? Hi Santa! Can you bring me a wii (he means a wii game). Love, Jack" I kept this and can't wait to show it to Jack in about 15 years.
We also make cookies each year. As you know, Lauren LOVES helping me in the kitchen. She helped me make 6 out of the 7 batches of cookies I made this year. Such fun having a little helper in the kitchen. I hope she likes cooking and baking as much as I do when she is older. Here are the kiddos decorating Christmas cookies. Such a mess, but such fun!!!

Ta-da!

A cute one of Jack and Charlie!
