I know I am always bragging about Lauren's latest developments, but now that she is 8 months I am going to continue~ She loves smiling. I don't know if I have ever seen such a smiley baby. It is so much fun now that her beautiful personality is coming out. What a joy she is. She points all the time now. If she wants to go somewhere or see something, she just points and expects to be brought to that particular place. She has clapped her hands, but doesn't do it very often. Lauren really wants to get around, but gets mad when she can't. She still leans forward and can get on her hand and knees, but doesn't move....well, actually, she only goes backwards, which really upsets her. She can stand up against the couch, but often forgets to hold on and falls. Not a good situatioin either. You should here her babble. She says, dada, nana (my mom loves that!), mama and baba. When she wants my attention she babbles until I pay attention to her. Lauren is so amazing....I could go on and on. I can't wait to see what she will be able to do a month from now.
