First Day of School!!!!

I can't believe that Jackson is old enough to go to school, but he is! Time flies...I remember thinking when he was born how long it would be until he went to preschool. Well, here we are 2 1/2 years later and my little man is going to preschool and loving it. He did awesome and I was so proud of him making friends, listening to his teacher and trying new activities.

Since it was the first day, I helped in his class and was with him the entire time. Some of the things that Jack liked best were painting, playing with the water and playing in the sandbox. The sandbox was his favorite....and that's quite shocking because sand was dirty and gross to Jack for so long. I have to say that I am glad that he is not scared of sand anymore =) Overall Jackson did great at school, but he was a little more needy than I thought he would be. During circle time (an activity he told me that he didn't like...) he wanted me to hold him and he had to sit on my lap the entire time. It was kind of cute, though, because he is usually pretty indenpendent.

He will go to school again on Thursday, but I will not stay with him. He tells me that he will be ok without Mommy and I think he is right! There are a total of 12 children in his class, plenty of new faces to keep him preoccupied during his 2 hrs at school.
