Mommy and Jack

Jackson and I had a lot of time, just the two of us, this week. (Lauren has been sleeping more as she is still recovering from surgery.) I have been really treasuring this one-on-one time with Jack, because it seems like Lauren has had most of my attention this summer with her medical problems. Check out what we have been doing together....
MAKING BANANA BREAD
Jackson did a great job making the banana bread. He did it all and loved it. Isn't he the cutest little cook?
Peeling the bananas

Putting in the sugar
Mixing the dough around
The best part of the process...eating the dough. Have you ever had banana bread dough? It isn't very good, but Jack obviously disagreed. He wanted more!!
Mmmmm....that's good~
Eating the finished product....He thought it was delicious!!

PUZZLE TIME
Jack has been obsessed with puzzles this summer and I keep buying him more and more. You should see how he concentrates when trying to put the pieces together. I just bought this puzzle for him a few days ago and he has no problems putting it all together now. We have done this puzzle about 20 times this week and he still loves it!

HIDE AND SEEK
Another favorite game is hide and seek. Jack loves hiding and he cracks me up because he hides in the same spot every time. When it is his turn to count and look for me he tells me that he is going to watch where I hide, so he can find me easier. Whatever makes him happy, right?
Here he is in "his" hiding spot.
He is always so happy when I find him.
