Happy 3rd Birthday, Jack!

Happy happy birthday to Jack. Where has the time gone? I just can't believe that three years ago at this time I was in the hospital waiting to have him. So much has changed in the last three years....it is so hard to imagine life without my little man. He makes it SO much better!!!

Here is a small list of things that I absolutely love about Jack:

~He is all boy. He is so into doing "boy" things and won't even come close to the color pink, which apparently is a "girl" color. Jack will climb, jump or run anytime he can. His energy is amazing!

~He loves to talk (I can really appreciate that because I am the same!) He will talk to anyone who will listen and respond. He loves listening and telling stories.

~He is such a great big brother. You should see how sweet he is to Lauren. She wants to do whatever he does and he is so patient with her. Lauren is lucky to have him as a big bro!

~He pays attention to details already....it is uncanny. He will notice things before me and make comments. For example, we walked into our Starbucks and he commented about a new picture that was up on the wall. I didn't even notice it!

~He likes to keep things very tidy. Jack will be playing and stop in his tracks to pick up a toy that is out of place....I am NOT complaining about this one!!!

~And lastly, I love his curiousity and sense of humor.

We got to the dr. on Monday, so I don't know how big he is yet. I can't wait to find out how tall he is....everyone tells us that he is a big boy, so it will be interesting to find out just how big he is!What a goofball. I told him to smile showing his teeth and this is what he gave me! He thought he was being so funny...I agreed with him!

I feel blessed to have such a wonderful little boy. How did I get so lucky? I am excited about the third year of his life, and wonder what it has in store for him. I am sure it will be his best one yet, as they seem to continue to get better and better. I love you so much, Jack and wish you a very happy birthday!!
