The Eugene house

I was glad when Friday rolled around and we were finally on our way to Eugene. I was SO tired of hearing Jack ask, "Mommy, can we go to the Eugene house now?" (The Eugene house is my parents house in Eugene. Don't know why he calls it the Eugene house, kind of random???) We got there Friday and played. (The kids spent hours playing my parent's piano.) Saturday was a really fun day. My mom had a great idea. We went to a place that lets kids paint plates. They turned out SO cute. The kids picked out their plate colors, painted, and each plate has their little handprint on them. What fun the kids had creating each plate. I can't wait to get them from my mom next weekend!!!! After naps, we headed to Marist, my old stomping grounds, and let the kids run around in the gym. They had fun playing with balls and climbing the bleachers. Next, we headed to the band room, and look out, Jack rocked it on the drums. He LOVED it! It was a bit loud, but totally worth it as the kids had a great time playing the instruments. We headed home on Sunday with more great memories from the "Eugene house."

Uncle Jeff and Jack playing us a little tune on the piano.Lauren copying her Nana and sitting like such a big girl in the chair.

Painting the plate. Lauren did so much better than I thought she would. She was really into the project and didn't want to stop.

What a masterpiece Jack is creating!

Helping Jack with the final touches.
Nana and Lauren. Lauren really liked wearing her apron. She wasn't happy when we took it off of her. I will have to remember to get her an apron when she gets a kitchen next year.
Hard at work...

Uncle Jeff came to watch too.

Here we are in the Marist gym. Jack had a whistle he liked blowing...lucky us.

Playing catch with Nana. Lauren already has an arm on her. Look out~ she is ready for the softball field.

What a little stud he is!
"The boys" as Jack would say playing a little basketball.

Papa and Jack in a serious discussion about their next b-ball play.
Our little princess found a stage. She enjoyed entertaining us while up there.
Jack on the drums. He actually was pretty good....but he WON'T be getting a drum set of his own. Those things are LOUD.

The Reding Two Man Band. They sounded great.
