For the past month or so, Jack has really enjoyed "doing math" with me. This is how it goes: I ask him, "Jack, there are five pigs in the barn and three more come in . How many pigs are there all together?" Or subtraction, "There are ten pigs in the barn and five leave. How many pigs are left in the barn?" Then he answers, and yes, he gets them right! He loves to figure out the answers, and he likes to ask me the same type of math questions too. It is so cute...he tells me he LOVES math. It cracks me up that he is getting so into "academic" type things. He also likes to write his name, tell me the sounds of letters and read. (No, he can't read, but he likes to either copy the sentences after me or look at the pictures and make up the story.) My little boy is getting so big. Sometimes, I just can't believe it.

What a little smarty pants! That is great that he loves to learn and figure things out. Go Jack....pretty soon he will be doing long division :-)
