Black Butte Swimming

We got back from Black Butte yesterday evening and what a great time we had. As always, time flew and it was very difficult to leave. We all had the best time...the kids were in heaven doing anything and everything they wanted to do. I took so many pictures over there that I had to break up the pictures into different categories (swimming, biking, horse ride etc.)....so here is the first post of many from our black butte trip!

SWIMMING!!!!

Each day, ten in total, we made it to the pool. It was so nice, because we would get there early and have the pool to ourselves for the first hour. Lauren had NO fear in the water and had to be watched like a hawk. She was so funny running around in the kiddie pool and "swimming" in the big pool. Jack was so comfortable in the water. He didn't want us to touch him at all....although, we were in the pool with him the entire time, he was completely independent. It was great. He would jump in by himself and swim back to the edge of the pool to do it all over again. He also loved diving down under the water to get his rings. As you will see from the pictures, there were many happy times at the pool!

(Good thing Jack started jumping in without needing one of us there. The water in the face is not always fun, but it makes for a great pic. =)

This is Lauren's version of swimming. Such a happy girl! She spent a lot of time doing this with her Nana.
When Jason got there on Wed. Jack loved it. He would throw Jack in the air as high as he could. Doesn't it look like Jack is flying??? He loved it and we thought it was great too.
On Thurs. Amy, Todd and Gunnar came. Here we are in the pool. I am giving Lauren a little toss up in the air. She would laugh and say "more in air." each time.

This picture gives you a little perspective of how high Jack was being thrown. I couldn't believe how much he loved it!
