About once a week I keep Jack up about 30 minutes after Lauren goes down for her nap. It allows me to have some quality one-on-one time with Jack...and, in turn, Lauren wakes up before Jack which lets us have some time to ourselves as well. I really enjoy this time with each kiddo. They also LOVE having mommy to themselves without the other sibling interrupting. Today, Jack and I worked on his "letter book" and Lauren and I made cookies. I think this is the first time Lauren has truly helped me bake. She had the best time and really enjoyed the cookie dough. Always saying, "More mommy, please." She was so cute helping me bake!

Baking together is so much fun! Lauren is going to take after her mommy and be a good cook- I can tell.
Seriously- how ADORABLE is she. ADORABLE. Alone time- when it happens (rarely) with mine I see so many benefits. The different personalities- with yet the same look :) Love it.
