Yes, I know it has been a long time since I have blogged, but I have an excuse. My small camera broke. Here is the story. I had my camera in the bathroom while I was doing Lauren's hair. The next thing I know, Lauren swings her arm, hits the camera and the camera goes flying. It looks like it is going in slow motion TOWARDS the toilet....I think no....please don't fall in the toilet...how will I get it out???? Yes, you guessed it, kerplunk right in the bottom of the toilet. I scream, and with my BARE hand pull the camera out of the toilet. I think I am still tramatized by this event since bathroom germs really GROSS me out. After I pulled the memory card and battery out of the camera I scrubbed my hands...for about 10 min. The entire time listening to Lauren say, "Mommy, what did you do?" And, I'm thinking "No, Lauren, what DID you do?" Of course this was an accident and Lauren didn't mean to hit the camera with her arm, but I just couldn't believe that it fell in the toilet. So, after I dried everything off, I turned it on....but it didn't work. Bummer!!! I am lucky though, because our friend Geoff, lent us this really nice fancy camera about a year ago. (Yes, we still have the camera after a year...hhhmmmm) This camera takes the best pictures, but the only downfall is that it is HUGE and hard to carry around. So, although, I feel lucky that I don't have to run out and buy a brand new camera, I haven't been taking as many pictures because the camera isn't as easy to carry around. So, there is the camera story...
The kids and I have been busy the past week. We went to the zoo one morning, Jack has been enjoying school and Lauren is still going to gymnastics. We also were able to visit with my good friend Stacy and her cute little one year old boy Bennett today. I actually did take some pictures of this event! Here are some pictures of the three-man band...Bennett, Jack and Lauren. The ABC song has never sounded so good!
