I am still working on decorating Lauren's big girl room, and this weekend I painted. Not very exciting....that is until you hear this story. So, I am upstairs rolling paint on the walls while Jack is in the hallway playing with his cars. Jason and Lauren also come upstairs to check on my progress. Jason assumes that all the paint is in Lauren's room, so he stands in the doorway talking to me with his back to the kiddos. He thinks both kids are simply playing...that is until he turns around to see Lauren with a paintbrush covered in paint in her hand, paint dripping on the carpet and paint ALL over Lauren's hands, shirt and hair. Yes, the gallon of paint was on the floor in the bathroom and Lauren found it. She told me, "I help, Mommy. I paint." Oh Lauren.....we found paint on the walls, carpet and on her. I really wish I would have gotten some pictures, but there was no time. We had to get all the paint off the walls and carpet ASAP. It cracks me up that Lauren did this...she didn't do it to be naughty, but we always just know that we have to keep our eyes on Lauren. We never know what she will think to do next!

Oh...my...gosh...that sucks!!! Nothing makes me more mad at myself than thinking I can turn my back for one minute then the next minute I have a nasty mess to clean up. Lauren definitely wins the Queen of Messy! Hope you were able to get all the paint cleaned up. I hope you're having fun decorating despite the cleaning delays. Hurry up and finish that room, I'm excited to see how cute it turns out! :)
