4th of July

What an eventful 4th of July we had! It all started out in Hillsboro at the parade. Jack, Lauren and Alexa had a great time getting tons of candy and watching the floats go by. It was such a beautiful day!

Nana and Lauren

Lauren giving direction to Alexa. I can just hear it now..."OK Alexa, I got candy last time, so this time it will be your turn." The kiddos did a great job of sharing candy and thinking of others when one didn't get one. I was so proud of all three of them! They are all such great kiddos.

Why didn't they throw me candy??

Mauling, I mean hugging, Michael.

After the parade, we headed to the Ellerbrooks for a bbq and fireworks.

Even Charlie was in a party mood!

Jason and Jon giving the kids a tutorial on sparkler safety.

Watching the first firework...Ilove how Lauren and Max are holding hands...so cute.

I think they liked this one. I love their facial expressions.

Watching the real fireworks in the sky. The kids got to bed at 11:00 that night, but did such a good job staying up late. We had a great 4th of July!!!
