Five Months!

At five months, Charlie is so much fun! He is the happiest little guy who constantly has a smile or laugh for us. He is very vocal and enjoys listening to himself make noise. He also gets people's attention by "talking" until they pay attention to him. It is so cute. Charlie is always watching Jack and Lauren and you can just tell he can't wait to run around with them. That being said he physically is our strongest baby. As you will see in the pictures, he is already sitting up on his own and rolling over a ton. I am going to appreciate this time of him sitting on his own playing. I am excited for him to be mobile, but we all know that requires a lot more supervision...I am sure he will be into everything before I know it! =)Charlie takes a bottle very well. Jack loves to feed him.


Lauren is a great big sister, especially in the car. She sits right by Charlie and is always making him laugh!

Sitting up on his own!

He loves to sit up. When he is laid back in the stroller he always is pulling himself up to see what is around him. He doesn't want to miss out on the action. He prefers to be sitting up now to laying on his back....

...the second I put him down on his back...

...this is what happens! He needs to roll over so he can see everyone better.

One last thing that Charlie has recently picked up...sucking his thumb!?!?! Neither of my other kiddos ever sucked their thumb, so this is really a new thing. Let's hope it doesn't stick...but he is so cute trying to put his thumb in his mouth!
