Fun days with Grandma

Last week Jane took Jack and Lauren on a special day. Lauren was first to go. Jane and Lauren went to paint pottery, ate at McDonald's and went to Munchin Playland. Lauren loved spending the time with her grandma and felt very special all day. We are excited to see Lauren's pottery when we get it today! Lauren was going to surprise us with the colors on her pottery....but, she had a hard time keeping a secret and told us she painted something with orange and blue. (Jack's favorite colors!!)

A few days later, it was Jack's turn! He was so excited to go golfing with Grandma and was determined to make it all nine holes. Jane and Jack played all nine holes...they played five holes, took a break for lunch at McDonalds and time at the park, then finished their round. Jack was so excited for his day. He picked out his golf outfit the night before and got dressed immediately when he woke up. He wore his golf hat from 7:30 until he got home at 4:00. He had so much fun. On the other hand, Lauren didn't know what to do without her brother. "Mommy, when is Jack going to be home?" I heard this every hour....oh she is going to struggle next week when Jack is at school all day!!

Lauren and Jane before they left for their day!
Ready to go with Grandma!
Thanks Jane for making Jack and Lauren's day with these special activities. They had so much fun!

Lauren and Charlie wanted Jack to give them a ride in the golf cart.
