We got all dressed up on Christmas Eve and went to church. It was the Children's Mass, so they put on a "play" for the kids of Jesus' birth. I went up with Jack and all the other kids to watch the play up-close. Jackson loved it and was especially excited when he saw baby Jesus. On the other hand, now that Lauren is walking, all she wanted to do was walk around. Jason and I tried to control her the best we could, but who can stop a girl who just learned how to walk??? She had a great time and met other small children in the back of the church during Mass.

Jack and Lauren before Christmas Eve Mass
I love Lauren's facial expression in this picture. What a crack up she is.
They are so cute....
The kids were adorable all dressed up for Christmas. My mom found that darling dress for Lauren. I think she bought it when Lauren was just born. I remember first looking at that dress and not being able to imagine Lauren that big. Well, my little baby is getting so big SO fast.
What a sweet boy Jack is! I love him to pieces!!
The kids did such a great job while I snapped a million pictures of them. So, here is our last picture of the day. Jack wanted to be silly....my favorite part of this pic is Lauren's reaction to us. She isn't sure what to think about here crazy parents and brother!!!
After Mass, we came back home had dinner, opened a present and decorated some cookies for Santa. Here are the kids frosting sugar cookies for Santa.
Lauren loved frosting her cookies, but she decided to eat hers instead of giving it to Santa.
Do you think that Jack put enough sprinkles on his cookies???? Wow~
We all decided that Jack needed to try one of his decorated cookies to make sure Santa would think they tasted good. Jack told us that Santa would think they were delicious!
Jack wanted to put five cookies on the plate for Santa. Here is Jack walking them over to the fireplace. Of course, all the cookies fell off as Jack was walking them over. But, he was so excited to walk them over to the fireplace all by himself (he is Mr. Independent these days), how was I supposed to say no. A little frosting on the carpet won't hurt anything, right???
This picture says it all.... the kids were so excited for Christmas morning. I can't believe they both slept so well Christmas Eve night.
