18 months....already??

I just realized that Lauren turned 18 months old this week. You know it is funny, I was so on top of exactly how old Jack was when it was just him, but life is a bit different, busier, than it used to be. So, yes, I am a few days off, but I still can't believe that she is a year and a half already.

She is:

*Running all around

*Talking a ton...she strings together 3-4 word phrases/questions

*Best friends with her brother, Jack, copies his every move and can never get enough of him.

*She knows her ABCs and can count to 10

*She also loves to laugh. There is nothing better than Lauren's happy smile and laugh.

*She never leaves you guessing...you always know how Lauren is feeling. When she is happy she is laughing and when she is NOT happy...well, you will definitely know it! =) Got to love my little drama queen.

*She loves her belly button and shows it to anyone willing to look at it.

*She loves animals and babies, especially dogs and baby Amelia.

We are working on:

*Being independent from Mommy. Yes, she is much better now, but she has a ways to go. When we are home, she prefers to be held by me or she wants me to sit right next to her. At least she likes the daycare at the gym and being babysat by family!!!

*Learning her colors. If you ask Lauren what color something is, she always responds "purple."

*Being able to eat different types of food. She likes chicken nuggets, cheese and canned fruit. Yeah, no fresh fruit, veggies or even a pb&j sandwich. I will keep trying, though!!!

Through and through, Lauren is unbelievable! Looking forward to what the next 18 months brings you, Lauren!!!
